Description

HiFi Ferro C-60 pro music-grade audio cassette pancakes, 40 pancakes.

Features a warm sound ideal for music reproduction. Acoustic music can be recorded just about as loud as premium high bias tapes and with little audible distortion. Music with intense high frequencies will of course have to be recorded at lower levels. This is a very good tape custom-made for duplication.ca (Analogue Media).

This tape can be used to create cassettes up to 66 minutes in length.

Why use C-60 tape instead of C-90, C-100, or C-110 tape? C-60 tape has substantially lower print-thorough (echo) than thinner C-90 tapes and is easier to work with. It also allows higher output levels than the thinner 100+ minute tapes.

Specifications:

Length: 8200 feet (2500 meters)
Reel diameter: 10.125"
Working bias: 100% of industry standard (+0%, -10%)
Maximum output level at 315 HZ, 3% total harmonic distortion: > +3.0 dB
Saturation level at 10 kHz: > -6.0 dB
Signal to noise ratio: > 50 dB
Width: 3.81 mm (+0, -0.05)

Packaging: 10 pieces per styrofoam container, 4 containers per shipping carton.

NB: audio pancakes are very sensitive to damage in handling when below 72 degress Fahrenheit / 22 degrees Celsius. Allow the tape to warm to room temperature before handling. A standard hair dryer can be useful to avoid broken pancakes if your room is a bit chilly. duplication.ca will not be responsible for any losses whatsoever be it in shipping or in your handling or during loading. The risk of broken pancakes is part of the tape loading business.
