Tyvek sleeves with a cellophane window and a flap are one of the best solutions for safely archiving your discs. Tyvek is a special DuPont fabric which will not scratch your discs. Paper and cardboard sleeves will scratch the disc over time and contribute to a higher block error rate (BLER). We have even seen cheap paper sleeves which render a DVD unreadable after just a few months of storage.
