The material is 20 micron PVC so it's best to double them up if you're shipping them.

Tyvek sleeves with a cellophane window and a flap are one of the best solutions for safely archiving your discs. Tyvek is a special DuPont fabric which will not scratch your discs. Paper and cardboard sleeves will scratch the disc over time and contribute to a higher block error rate (BLER). We have even seen cheap paper sleeves which render a DVD unreadable after just a few months of storage.

Plain unprinted matte uncoated white cardboard sleeve made out of 18 point SBS board with an inside seam. Made in Canada. The uncoated surface is ideal for rubber-stamp-inking or writing on without smearing. Note: this is thick 18 point cardboard.
